We’ve seen the intersection of 3D printing and fashion, but this is the first 3D printed shoe that’s printed with carbon fiber. Footwear designer Silvia Fado partnered with HXX to create the first prototype during Fashion Festival in Spain. Using artisanal methodologies and cutting edge 3D printing technology, Silvia was able to create an edgy, futuristic platform shoes that’ll be sure to turn heads. The curvy shape of the shoe is sharpened by the angular heels and its metallic back.
