A Sideboard Inspired by an Old Ammunition Chest

Daniele Cristiano’s Calibro sideboard was inspired by the shape of old ammunition chests that were used during war. Once something from war, Cristiano turns it into a thing of beauty for Formabilio, where the antiquated use now becomes something both practical and modern.

The functional piece can be a media center in your living room, a bench in your entrance, or a coffee table. Calibro is made from solid spruce wood with an oil finish along with lacquered MDF containers, all that fits together snuggly with leather belts.
