Modern Cutlery by Inga Sempé for Alessi

French designer Inga Sempé joins the growing list of designers asked to create a line of cutlery for Alessi. Collo-alto is based on Sempé’s IS01 risotto serving spoon from 2012 and the new set was developed around that particular piece.

The cutlery features a long, narrow neck that gradually transitions to the handle giving each piece a feeling of lightness. Straight lines become curved ones, and narrow sections become wide, creating a balanced and elegant piece of cutlery.
