Blocchi by Dowel Jones

Blocchi is a minimalist design created by Melbourne-based designer Dowel Jones. The studio was started by Dale Hardiman and Adam Lynch with a focus on simplifying objects to their bare essentials without compromising on aesthetic values. They work with independent local manufacturers to develop everyday objects.

Each of their accessories serve a very particular function, and the Blocchi incorporates both functional and sculptural attributes. The design is a desk organizer that elegantly and neatly stores a user’s pens, pencils, and other various desktop objects. Small cavities allow for rounded objects to rest perfectly, specifically pens or brushes.

Blocchi is manufactured from a solid piece of American Oak, and can be used either singularly or together with other Blocchi in order to expand its storage capacity. The current version is available in Black, Natural, or White.
