Abstracted Kitchen Tools to Make You Think Outside the Box

Andyi Liao, who collaborated with Sharonna Chan and Ivana Low, took a look at society’s influence on humans and how we’re forced to conform. If we remove those limitations, we can enrich our lives through creativity and expansion and the trio’s goal was to give awareness that there’s not only one way to do things and sometimes it’s okay not to follow instructions.

(Un)contained is a cooking/eating concept that offers a box full of abstracted kitchen tools that only give you a hint as to what they’re typically used for. The idea is for friends to come together and to think outside of the box by combining parts to allow you to finish a task so you can cook a meal.
