Thanda is a new online store that carries ethically made products for the home from South Africa. Their ethos is to support small businesses, while providing skill training and income for communities in South Africa. The first product they’re launching is a collection of four tablet and iPad cases that are hand printed with four individual designs.

Coming in two different sizes, the cases are made from recycled paper cement bags and fused with cotton. Light yet durable, the materials used to create the cases make them ideal for carrying tablets, as they’re tear-resistant but also easy for carrying around. A liquid nano-glass covering also makes the cases water-resistant, while the inside has a soft black cotton liner.
