Geological Frame by Huy Bui

Drawing inspiration from an ancient, Chinese divination text named “I Ching”, designer Huy Bui created 48 different sculptural brass rectangles, all holding a piece of raw wood. Best known for his work building modular, micro-ecosystems, Geological Frame is a currently installation at Patrick Parrish. Each Topo piece comes in a variety of shapes and looks, and explores the relationship between architecture and ecology.
