Conceptual Furniture Design by Marc Englander

New York City-based furniture designer Marc Englander has a penchant for thinking outside the box when it comes to designing furniture. Inspired by painters, sculptors, designers and architects from the 20th century, Englander fuses art with architecture to create his latest collection, produced in Brooklyn with sustainably-sourced materials. Every piece has an unsuspecting feature, whether it’s a stool that becomes a table, a console table with floating wooden storage, or a transparent coffee table that uses a Sycamore stump as a base.

For Englander, it’s important to balance form with function, focus with humor, and thought-provoking art with livable furniture.
