A Skeleton Frame Bookshelf by Vrokka

Juan Carlos Franco designed a new bookshelf for the Colombia-based Vrokka that’s made of solid oak. Merging technology with skilled craftsmanship, the Bookshelf A1 features a wooden skeleton frame that supports shelves appearing to float mid-air. While typically a bulky and visually heavy furniture piece, this bookshelf appears light with the help of the crossed braces that attach underneath each shelf.

The bookshelf can be made using any type of wood, finish, color, and even material – for instance, stone or metal for the shelves.
