Harrison Lane’s Family-Inspired Furniture

Harrison Lane is a Canadian cabinet maker and self-taught furniture designer who’s part of Oldam Brand, a family-run studio out of Ottawa, Ontario. Recently, Lane designed and built a few beautiful pieces of solid wood furniture, each named after a family member, complete with handcrafted details.

The Clayton Chair, named after Lane’s younger brother, is made of solid ash wood with a white oil finish and brass accents.

Named after his late grandmother, the Florence Stool is made from aged cherry and features tapered legs.

Penny is a gorgeous desk, named after one of Lane’s cousins, made out of a flame birch base and a laminated cherry veneer top.
