Low Energy Lighting with Adjustable Wooden Shades

With a nod to minimalist Nordic design, Danish studio PEDERJESSEN created the Ray collection of low energy lighting inspired by the phrase ‘Ray of Light’. Each of the fixtures, which were designed for Mater, features a FSC-certifed oak wood shade held inside an outer steel shell with the help of magnets that allow the ‘ray of light’ to be positioned in any direction.
