Handcrafted Toolbox That Holds Six Essential Tools

Doppia Firma is a project started by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte, Living, and yoox.com that pays homage to Italian craftsmanship by pairing 16 Italian designers with 16 Italian master artisans. One of the designs included in the experimental project is called Kit del Legnamé, which is a wooden toolbox that holds six carpentry tools, including a bevel square, scriber, pencil, hammer, chisel, and pliner. The toolbox came about when young Milanese designer Giacomo Moor worked with Giordano Viganò, who brought decades worth of top-notch woodworking skills to the table, to create a toolbox that’s not only functional, but a work of art.
