A Vintage-Inspired, Woven Cane Chair from BuzziSpace

Other than Marcel Breuer’s Cesca chair for Knoll, you don’t see too many modern designs made with woven cane, and that one was designed in 1928! Dumoffice designers, Wiebe Boonstra and Marc van Nederpelt, chose the natural material for their vintage-inspired BuzziCane chair that was designed for BuzziSpace. Woven cane can easily look traditional, but the designers gave it a fresh spin by pairing it with a wooden base that boasts contemporary lines.

To make BuzziCane even more comfortable, they’ve added a cozy cushion to the seat and back to give it a more relaxed look. Besides the one-seater version, it is available as a two- and three-seater as well.
