Caesarstone Commissions Swatch Table by Dor Carmon Studio

Quartz manufacturer Caesarstone recently commissioned Israeli design studio Dor Carmon to create a piece to display at the Fresh Paint contemporary art fair in Tel Aviv. The result is the Swatch Table which incorporates various textures from the Supernatural collection, which is inspired by nature.

The coffee table features 10 different colors of Caesarstone “swatches” that wrap over the top and down the two long sides, ending in rounded edges. The striped top is paired with a pink metal frame base that adds a fun modern element to the overall design.

As with past Caesarstone collaborations, the designers explore innovative ways of using the quartz material, which many people only associate with kitchen and bathroom countertops. The table, along with previous designs, shows a more decorative side letting people really think outside the box.
