Duna and Eve Chandeliers by Zaha Hadid Design for Lasvit

Prague-based glass manufacturer Lasvit continues its path of offering modern glass lighting created using age-old techniques. The brand works with contemporary designers giving them a modern edge, while also remaining true to their traditional methods of hand blowing glass. Fresh from their debut at Salone, the Duna and Eve Chandeliers display signature curves that Zaha Hadid Design has universally been known for but in glass, giving them a dreamy, sculptural look.

Duna’s asymmetrical silhouette was inspired by dune formations and comprises two glass forms that connect together. The exterior surfaces feature a linear pattern which emits unique reflections and refractions.

Joining 15 glass components, Eve comes together as a single arrangement with the glass elements hanging at various heights. The organic shapes vary in size and are a mix of clear and opaque glass.
