Two Apartments Become One with Views of the Dnipro River

Overlooking the Dnipro River in the Ukraine, the River View Apartment was designed by SVOYA Studio to expand on the city and river views by combining two apartments. The young family was expecting a baby and longed for an open kitchen, dining room, and living room, along with a master bedroom with a bathroom and dressing area, and a nursery.

The new, expanded layout worked perfectly, as most of the rooms reside along the window-lined exterior, while the bathrooms and closets are inward.

For the interior, they kept the materials high in quality and as natural as possible to result in a cozy and comfortable apartment that feels like a home. White walls are paired with black accents and wooden details, along with the occasional use of color – in the living room’s case, a rich blue on the sofa.
