A Minimalist Table Inspired by Classroom Desks from KROFT

Doodle Table is a minimalist table created by Toronto-based designer Dustin Kroft of KROFT. The designer prides himself in handcrafting pieces with honest materials based on a design language inspired by the purity that comes from a commitment to purpose and function.

As such, the Doodle Table was inspired directly by Kroft’s childhood, mainly work desks that were used throughout classrooms. The table is inspired by the old classroom desks that featured adjustable chrome legs and simple clean lines.

Kroft replaced the chrome legs with solid wood inserts that receive tenons that are inserted into the square tube legs. The table completely knocks down for easy shipping and comes in a variety of colors and finishes. The top is a high pressure laminate which offers maximum durability for dining or work. The metal frame is powder coated with a matte black finish.
