White Concrete Armchairs Designed by Raw Edges for Nesting

Commissioned by Greenwich Peninsula and NOW Gallery, Raw Edges designed a collection of concrete armchairs that invite visitors to sit, play, lean, and relax in London’s Peninsula Square. Steps is the city version of finding a log or rock to sit on while spending time in nature. Here, Steps is offering a relaxing spot in the city instead of having to find a set of stairs, a curb, or a brick wall.

After doing some research, Raw Edges created a small urban landscape made from a group of concrete modules. Each component, which was fabricated by Mass Concrete, is designed to be an oversized armchair in different heights so that various configurations can be composed.
