Track Basket: Storage Inspired by Shopping Carts

When designing this industrial storage collection for Normann Copenhagen, Simon Legald found inspiration in the ever-present shopping cart’s linear metal structure. The Track Basket takes on a similar aesthetic that creates graphic patterns as the diagonal steel rod panels visually overlap. By running the rods in opposing directions on each of the sides, patterns of geometric shapes begin to appear and will change as the basket is moved.

The powder-coated steel baskets offer a minimalist storage option in multiple sizes and in three colors – Grey, Rust, and White – to hold your books, magazines, work gear, office supplies, toys, firewood, and just about anything else.
