Robert Sukrachand Unveils Two New Collections

Just unveiled at the recent Architectural Digest Design Show, Robert Sukrachand shares two new collections – the Torus Collection, a series of tables and shelving featuring microsuede, and the Cyc Mirror, which is made of bronze mirror and bent glass. Both collections incorporate dramatic curves and unexpected silhouettes.

The Torus Collection consists of occasional tables and shelving made from microsuede wrapped bent plywood giving the typically smooth material a highly textured and warm feel. Then, paired with bronze glass and aged bronze, the pieces feel both timeless and elegant.

The Cyc Mirror pays homage to a “cyclorama”, the iconic curved backdrop used in photography, with its curled up, acid etched glass edges. To make it happen, Sukrachand enlisted his studio neighbor, Flickinger Glassworks, who are one of the few shops left to do custom glass bending.
