New Works by Copenhagen-Based Furniture Brand COMMON

COMMON is a new furniture brand based in Copenhagen, Denmark with showrooms in New York and Berlin. The brand will be working with a number of high profile designers, which include Studio David Thulstrup, Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm, Geckeler Michels, Bjarke Ingels Group, SHoP Architects, and Baum und Pferdgarten.

The brand is focused on providing high quality furniture at an approachable price using ethical production standards. They work with factories that align with their ethos of sustainable production from Lithuania and Estonia.

While the seating uses Kvadrat upholstery, the wood frames are produced in FSC verified wood, which ensures that the wood is not harvested faster than the forest can regrow itself. COMMON wanted to work with designers from all spectrums, and create products that are radical yet sensible.

Leo Lei translates his passion for minimalism into his daily-updated blog Leibal. In addition, you can find uniquely designed minimalist objects and furniture at the Leibal Store.
