Daniel Germani Designs SOLANAS Outdoor Collection for GANDIABLASCO

Argentinean architect and designer Daniel Germani designed a new outdoor furniture collection that pays homage to Uruguay’s Solanas, a beach destination that he frequented during summers as a child. Created for GANDIABLASCO, the SOLANAS series offers a clean and welcoming aesthetic that’s ready to host your friends and family, something that was important to Germani’s father. Their home in Solanas had an outdoor space that was designed for enjoying his three passions: nature, family, and gastronomy.

The early memories of his father bringing loved ones together at 7pm every evening to sit back and share stories led Germani to incorporate softer forms and rounded edges, as if the pieces were embracing the user just like his father did.

The SOLANAS collection marks a new collaboration between GANDIABLASCO and Dekton® by Cosentino along with Daniel Germani Designs to create innovative, modular collections of furniture for the outdoors. This particular collection of furniture combines extruded aluminum structures with tabletops made from Dekton®, a low maintenance material comprised of raw materials used in the manufacturing of glass, porcelain tiles, and quartzite surfaces. The Dekton® table surfaces ensure that they’ll last a long time as they’re resistant to UV rays, scratches, and stains, and they boast zero porosity.

The SOLANAS collection’s aluminum structures are available in different tones of grey, blue, green, and orange with various finishes from different Dekton® collections, including ranges from the Dekton® Solid Collection, the Dekton® Natural Collection, and the Dekton® Industrial Collection.
