NIRU Slow Creations Launches with the Branca Lighting Collection

NIRU Slow Creations is the brainchild of Barcelona-based Ramos & Bassols design studio. After designing products for other companies for years, they decided to create their own brand. The name is based on the Japanese word ‘niru’, which means simmer, something the brand itself did until it was ready to launch its first collection, Branca.

The Branca lighitng collection is handcrafted in solid oak and outfitted with LED technology that emits a warm light from the entire length of the fixture. Each lamp features an integrated dimmer to adjust the light’s intensity and a black or red cord to plug it in. Despite being a long, linear fixture you’d expect to find only hanging, Branca comes in three versions, including a pendant, and two leaning versions – a floor model and a table model.
