ZigZagZurich Introduces Artist Wool Blankets Inspired by Art

After launching a successful collection of cotton blankets earlier this summer, Zurich-based textile brand ZigZagZurich is about to release a new collection of artist-designed wool blankets for 2018/2019. They worked with artists around the world on the latest designs which are inspired by art and graphics, particularly from Pop Art to the Bauhaus Movement. To achieve the results they were looking for, they introduced “twisted yarns” to get a melange color effect which gives the blankets added texture. Not only did they add the new weaving technique, they’ve brought in Mexico-based artist Daniel Berreto to join Michele Rondelli and Sophie Probst to design the expansive, colorful collection.

The artist-designed Wool Blankets Collection 2018/2019 will be available online beginning in September 2018.
