Dépaysement by Vonnegut/Kraft and Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Dépaysement is a minimalist collection created by Brooklyn-based designers Vonnegut/Kraft in collaboration with Slow and Steady Wins the Race.

The collection was designed using Weft, a new technology for creating custom woven textiles in which users can upload a design and edit patterns, which can then be ordered on demand.

Vonnegut/Kraft designed jacquard fabrics for a collection consisting of two benches, two ottomans, and one screen. The collection was designed in response to the upholstery’s colors and geometry, instead of the other way around.
