Floyd Is Back with the Modular Floyd Sofa

Detroit-based Floyd has been tackling basic furniture needs since 2014, reimagining new solutions for each room’s most important piece of furniture. They’ve designed a minimal platform bed and a dining table, and their latest might be their most important essential to date – the Floyd Sofa. The modular sofa boasts a modern frame constructed of powder-coated steel and wood with soft, durable cushions to top it off.

The sofa comes after two years of R&D by the in-house product team and the result is a stylish, yet efficient sofa that ships flat-packed (for free!) and assembles in just a matter of minutes. Despite its flat-packed design, the company refuses to sacrifice on design and comfort. Meaning, you’re not only getting a sofa you can easily take apart and put back together when it’s time to move, you’re getting a great modern sofa that’s comfortable and made with high quality materials. It’s a win-win.

The frame comes in two options – birch wood or upholstered to match the cushions. Fabric color options are Spa (light blue), Ocean Dive (dark blue), Saffron (mustard yellow), and Moon Landing (light gray). The Floyd Sofa will be available as a two-seater, three-seating, and as a sectional (three-seater with a chaise).

The Floyd Sofa will begin shipping in October with a pre-sale starting on September 20th at www.floydhome.com.
