A House in Bangkok That Embraces Greenery and a Love of Nature

Designed for a family that loves nature, the SIRI House is located in Bangkok, Thailand with a courtyard and greenery weaving up through the facade. GLA.Design created the residence more as a “life gallery” where they could share their travel memories and enjoy their active indoor/outdoor lifestyle.

The facade features perforated shades on the upper floor where plants can grow and climb to create shade and privacy.

The home comprises two wings with a glass-enclosed courtyard in the middle. The ground floor features an open layout that works for the family’s modern lifestyle.

The courtyard houses a fish pond that can be enjoyed from all angles inside and a wooden deck that extends the interior living space outdoors.

The interior boasts a minimalist feel with all-white surfaces, like the polished floors, walls, and glossy kitchen cabinets.

Upstairs, a hallway flanked with floor-to-ceiling glass windows connects the two wings.
