Lapis Side Table by Alexander Purcell Rodrigues for Link Outdoor

Since 2017, Link Outdoor has asked award-winning designers to create a one-of-a-kind side table for charity that worked alongside the brand’s ethos. The collection of designs, named the Jewel Tables, are now available for sale with the original ones being auctioned off to raise money for scholarships that benefit the Dallas design community. One of those tables was designed by London- and Los Angeles-based Alexander Purcell Rodrigues out of reclaimed teak and powder-coated cast aluminum, resulting in the Lapis Side Table.

The sculptural outdoor side table was inspired by the cutting and setting processes of gemstones with three teak facets held together with a prong-like setting. Its aluminum legs curve up from the ground and come together before separating out to clasp the “stones” in place.

The base comes in five powder-coated finishes – Bone White, Silver, Gun Metal, Bronze Patina, or Antique Bronze – with the tabletop available in Natural, Oiled, or Weathered teak.
