Estiluz Opens a NYC Showroom and Unveils New Lighting

NYCxDesign week is always packed with exciting things in the world of modern design, and contemporary lighting leader Estiluz capitalized by not only releasing a new collection but also opening their brand new New York showroom. The five new fixture styles – Circ, Asana, Flow, Alfi, and Emma – initially launched during Milan Design Week before making their stateside debut.

Delicate and functional, the Alfi family found its inspiration in the form of straight pins used in fashion and tailoring. Available in floor and pendant styles, each is highly adjustable thanks to the independent movement of its light source components. Designed by José Manuel Ferrero from Estudi {H}ac Atelier and developed by Estiluz’s design team, these luminaires encourage creativity, adaptability, and visual and functional balance.

Inspired by yoga and composed of multifunctional arms, Asana is a floor lamp for indoor spaces. One arm can be folded or unfolded to change the position of light, while another arm features a small shelf that can also be used as a small table. Designed by OiKo Design Office, Asana is extremely versatile and at home in any space.

Circ is an indoor/outdoor family of lamps that have been designed with different wrought iron supports that unify and delineate between the pieces in the collection. Created by Nahtrang Studio, these asymmetrical fixtures rely on symmetry and balance. The outdoor versions use a resistant screen of polyethylene, whereas the indoor versions use glass.

The modern aesthetic of the Emma family features traditional skill with metallic finishes, making the pieces highly versatile no matter the aesthetic of the space. Designed byGoula/Figuera, the sleek, elegant lines are eye-catching and full of personality. The series is made up of a suspension lamp, a wall light, and a floor lamp.

Flow, for interiors, features a statement-making crease that’s full of character. Its simple, tubular structure is slender, elegant, and capable of creating multiple suspensions. Be minimal with one or fill a larger space with multiples. Designed by Estudi Ribaudi, Flow is full of infinite possibility.
