LAZE the Summer Away with RODA’s New Additions

The newest additions to RODA’s successful LAZE outdoor collection, designed by Gordon Guillaumier, include lounge chairs, a stool, and a sofa. Design, comfort, and functionality are the main features of all three pieces, thanks to a generous silhouette that encloses you in the shape of a large leaf. The stainless steel shell holds tenuous polyester filaments that are strung to create a wide, ergonomic seat that’s incredibly welcoming.

Gordon Guillaumier tells us about the new collection, “Laze project is conceived as ‘laze seating’ indeed, thanks to a wide and enveloping shell. The double height of the backrest is suitable to moments of conversation or reading, while the rocking chair reminds a cradle and it is perfect for a nap. The seat and back cushion, as an option, add further comfort, while the seat-only cushion allows a natural transpiration through the strings, ideal for hot summer days.”

The LAZE chair is available with a high or low backrest, as well as in a rocking version. A footrest-pouf completes your new favorite place to nap. Add a cushion to all of the chairs in the collection, both seat and back, to add one last layer of comfort. LAZE is available in three metal finishes: smoke, milk, and rust, and seven colors of cord: grey, tobacco, sand, orange, brown, blue, and olive.

The second new addition, LAZE Sofa, features the same type of construction as the LAZE chair. Polyester filaments crisscross the backrest as if on a loom while the seat is covered in one continuous seat cushion. Another solution from RODA bringing the type of refinement you expect from indoor furniture out.
