Filippo Mambretti’s Kino Lights Upwards and Downwards

Filippo Mambretti has designed a clean, bidirectional light for client Cabelli4U that illuminates both upwards and downwards. The Kino lamp comes in a wall version and a standalone version and can be installed in outdoor environments like trails, gardens, and patios, as well as on architectural elements such as arches and vaults.

The light is encased in steel and matched with Lecce stone and emits a diffused glow – perfect for illuminating al fresco dinners and summer parties.

Keshia grew up in Singapore and moved to the U.S. to attend Dartmouth College. When she was living abroad after graduation, a chance enrollment at the Architectural Association Visiting School led to her becoming enamored with door schedules and architectural écriture. She's particularly interested in design for aging, rural architecture, and Asian design heritage.
