Take a Digital Tour of Istituto Marangoni Milano Design During Its Virtual Open Day

Is becoming a successful designer one of your major life aspirations? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to attend one of the top design schools in Milan and Europe? Well, prestigious Milan-based design school Istituto Marangoni Milano Design is set to virtually open its doors during its upcoming Virtual Open Day to answer all of your burning questions and feed your curiosity – from the comfort of your own home.

The completely free online event will offer prospective design students an inside look into the school’s interior design, product design, and visual design programs through a full digital live streaming experience with its program leaders and Alumni. The event will provide a unique immersive opportunity for participants to virtually get to know faculty members and feel out the school’s atmosphere before visiting the campus in real life.

Istituto Marangoni has been a leading design school educating top designers for 85 years. The school offers a variety of specialized programs that teach students to become designers of excellence who are capable of operating in a vast array of professional environments.

Many students who study at Istituto Marangoni Milano Design receive awards for the projects they complete in class – Visual Design Student Avanti Talwar won a D&AD New Blood award in 2019, Furniture and Product design master’s student Terence Coton won a Red Dot Design award in 2018, Furniture and Product design master’s student Gustavo Martini won the Wallpaper Designer of the Year award in 2017, and Furniture and Product design master’s student Marco Ripani won a Targa Bonetto Special Mention award in 2018, just to name a few.

Istituto Marangoni Milano Design borders the city’s renown Design District, which is the location of many exhibitions during Milan Design Week and acts as an endless source of inspiration for students year round. The school’s main building is a completely new space located in Via Cerva that will focus on offering essential environments for each program, from dedicated industrial design workshops to visual design studios.

In order to foster even more professional skills, an integral part of Istituto Marangoni’s curriculum is spending time outside of the classroom to take advantage of the nearby design showrooms, workshops, and studios through courses that incorporate both theory and practice. The school’s flexible programming offers undergraduate programs, postgraduate programs, and short courses in order to meet its students’ diverse needs.

Istituto Marangoni Milano Design’s Virtual Open Day is now open for registration here. The event will take place on Thursday, April 23rd at 4PM EST.
