The New Lambert & Fils New York City Showroom by Re-a.d

Lambert & Fils recently launched their newest showroom in Tribeca, New York City, designed in collaboration with interdisciplinary architecture and design studio Re-a.d. Originally from Montreal, the studio is marking their ten-year anniversary with the launch of their newest showroom alongside five showpieces that introduce the brand’s new Atelier line.

The showroom is situated within the ground floor of the historic Schepp Building, a 19th-century neo-Grec and Romanesque Revival red brick structure located on the corner of Hudson and Duane. With support from Re-a.d, creative director Samuel Lambert took on the 1500-square-foot interior with the help of his son to restore the historic space.

The focus was to spotlight the building’s architectural features, such as its 20th-century columns and three sets of arched windows. According to Lambert, “I wanted to revisit the vocabulary we had created with each collection, and imagine what new phrases we could come up with, using the same words. For me, it’s a way to both honor the last ten years and push ourselves further and deeper.”
