Pentagon Designs Radius House With Sharp Angles + Curved Surfaces

The Radius House is an architectural gem that just hit the market in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles. Behind the design is Los Angeles-based Pentagon who designed the 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom residence featuring both a sculptural exterior and interior. The white exterior boasts sharp angles, curved surfaces, and large windows resulting in a geometric structure with a bold presence.

Inside, walnut is used throughout the kitchen, as well as for curved shelving and the winding staircase structure. The warm wood contrasts the white venetian plaster walls and radiant heated concrete floors.

The stairs cantilever around creating an illuminated atrium that fills the interior with natural light.

In the private areas on the second level, the flooring transitions to a white oak wood.

The home wraps around three sides of a courtyard where Sarita Jaccard Design created the landscape design. A raised slab of basalt houses the pool, sundeck, and fireplace, acting as a “bento box of outdoor activities.”

The Radius House is currently listed for sale with Engel & Völkers Santa Monica.
