Structural Yet Soft, Meet the Arch Chair

Still a concept looking to be manufactured, Girelli Studio’s Arch Chair is a statement piece ready for its moment in the spotlight. Made of Ash wood, with a plywood backrest and seat surface, its strong architectural design features structure. At the same time, it doesn’t compromise on the softness created by the curves. The Arch Chair pulls from mid-century aesthetics as well as Japanese architecture and the work of Charles Rennie Macintosh. Alone or as a pair, this is a solid piece of furniture that’s useful, comfortable, and beautiful.
