There’s Something Very Nostalgic About the T4 Collection

One look at the new T4 furniture series and you’ll probably feel a sense of nostalgia coming on. The collection, designed in collaboration with creative studio Holloway Li and furniture brand Uma, draws upon several familiar design inspiration, including the golden age of Cool Britannia and 90s television iconography (namely, the era of chat show sofas). The curvature of T4’s signature design language takes cues after the automotive industry, specifically the original London buses, but the shape is also reminiscent of 90s decor like lava lamps and inflatable chairs. It’s a story of old-made-new in a way that feels comfortingly familiar.

The T4’s modular design allows for multiple configurations, from singular seats to corner sofas to larger arrangements. The fiberglass is hand finished in Uma’s factory and upholstered with locally sourced fabrics. For its grand debut, the collection comes in four color ways: Melon Yellow, Blush Pink, Overground Orange, and Cream Soda. Additional items are set to be revealed in 2023.
