The Quotidiana Rug Collection Depicts Everyday Home Life in Pattern Form

My favorite thing about a good floor rug is its versatility. Buy it for the dining room, then move it into the living room or bedroom when you’re ready to change things up a little. Eskayel’s new Quotidiana rug collection features the perfect abstract feel that’s ideal for doing just that. The design began with a series of paintings meant to depict everyday home life and evolved from there. The final pattern arranges and pulls together its deconstructed pieces in a harmonious way for the abstract result.

This is only the latest result of Eskayel’s ongoing design explorations that bring together intense colors, sumptuous silks, and wool blends with their skilled weaving techniques. This process of experimenting with surface design and pushing its boundaries, while simultaneously working with new materials and techniques is a big part of the brand’s rug design process.

Quotidiana is available as a flatweave and hand-knotted rug in various pile heights and colorways, including Burnt Sienna, Sage, Corinth, Isthmus, and Leftko.
