The Prisma Lighting Series Is Inspired by Brutalist Architecture

Brutalist design often conjures up massive buildings that are raw in form and materials, but this style can be applied to something much smaller. Lucie Koldova, the artistic director of Brokis, was inspired by the design movement in creating Prisma, a collection of lighting that is characterized by its strength and structure.

Prisma gets its name from the decagonal metal prism structure that reflects light in different ways depending on the angle it is viewed from. At either end of the prism is a handblown glass sphere that illuminates unexpected shapes from within. Prism is available as a pendant or a table lamp in three different finishes: brushed steel, galvanized yellow zinc gloss, and galvanized yellow zinc matte. Placed in any interior setting, the light adds an industrial and architectural element while still creating a soft ambience for the room.
