A Modern, Ocean-Front Beach House Outfitted with Smart-Home Appliances

Located in Amagansett, New York, Atelier 211 is a modern, ocean-front beach house designed by Studio Zung as one of their “intelligently designed, meticulously appointed and artfully curated residences.” Spanning 4,150 square feet, the home features six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms, as well as a custom-designed chef’s kitchen outfitted with Fisher & Paykel appliances.

The main living space has double-height ceilings and a wall of windows that frames views of the deck and heated saline swimming pool. Custom WoodLife European white oak flooring provides a light, beach-y base while white walls and warm wood furnishings round out the grand space. Overall, it feels like a balanced mix of luxury and casual simplicity that’s ideal for daily life and when it’s time to entertain friends and family.

The minimalist kitchen keeps it simple with custom wood cabinets, white Cesarstone marble countertops and black details. Most of the appliances are hidden behind cabinetry, adding to the clean look, except for the black range.
