Ai Weiwei’s Mini-Documentary from The Creators Project

The Creators Project sat down with Chinese contemporary artist, Ai Weiwei, to see what impact the almighty Internet has had on his artwork. It was just in 2005 that Weiwei touched a computer for the very first time and learned to type and he explains just how much they’ve changed the course of his artwork and life.

The Creators Project also explored the collaborative project between Weiwei and Olafur Eliasson called Moon. Due to Weiwei not being allowed to leave China, all of the work for the project had to be done via Skype and telephone, but they managed to come up with an intriguing project that lets anyone leave their individual mark on a shared online canvas.
