Alessi Launches New Range of Wall Clocks

Earlier this year, Alessi presented a new collection of clocks by a range of renowned designers, including Daniel Libeskind, Abi Alice, Mario Trimarchi, Guilio Iacchetti, and Studio Job. These high profile designers brought their aesthetic and translated it into their different ideas of measuring time expanding Alessi’s range of small home accessories.

Alessi Launches New Range of Wall Clocks

From Australian designer Abi Alice, the playful Dotty Clock started while playing with dot stickers in varying sizes and colors found at the stationery store. The minimal clock also references old astronomical devices that were used at one point to measure time by observing the movements of the solar system.

Also from Abi Alice, the Infinity Clock features “continuous curves that generate infinite movement,” mimicking the passage of time. With no numbers on its white face, simple blue hands denote time.

Mario Trimarchi continues his La Stanza dello Scirocco collection with a wall clock featuring irregular shapes surrounding a hexagonal face. Its name refers to a magical place in old Sicilian houses where people get away from the heat and wait out the winds.

Giulio Iacchetti designed two clocks that work with the corners of your room. Ora In fits within a regular corner, letting you check the time from any angle. Ora Out fits on the outer, protruding corner where two walls connect at 90 degrees.

Does Daniel Libeskind’s Time Maze clock look familiar? We featured it a few months back when it was unveiled during Milan Design Week.
