Apartment in The Netherlands by i29 Interior Architects

This single-family apartment by i29 Interior Architects is sized just right for four people. Located in southern Amsterdam, The Netherlands, the original structure of this home with many rooms was transformed into a more spacious, open space.

The new, light and airy space contains a kitchen with cabinets from floor to ceiling has laser-cut front panels, spray-painted white. This creative pattern isn’t just aesthetic, as the holes also function as integrated handles.

Following the theme of light and airy, an atrium with open staircases brings natural light from a large roof light into the living area. A two-story wall covered in natural pine connects the upper and lower spaces.
