APPARATUS Launches New Lighting & its First Furniture Collection

APPARATUS never ceases to hypnotize us with their design charms and their latest falls right in line. This Spring they launched two new lighting series, LINK PORCELAIN and CYLINDER, as well as venturing into furniture for the first time with their PORTAL TABLES. These new additions continue their explorations of working with hand worn materials and contemporary forms.

The LINK PORCELAIN pendants merge porcelain links by ceramicist Alice Goldsmith with brass, striking a balance between fragility and strength.

The CYLINDER SERIES takes functional lighting to an elevated, designer level. Recessed, directional lighting radiates from within minimalist metal forms that can stand alone or be grouped together.

PORTAL TABLES are made from thick, sandblasted ash and their bold forms and rough-looking textures mimic that of primitive furniture. Above: PORTAL DINING TABLE
