Hookl und Stool, which consists of designers Zoran Jedrejcic and Aleksandar Ugresic, recently presented their newest creations earlier this year at imm cologne 2014. The Armada Armchair (designed by Jedrejcic) was inspired by the Spanish Armada fleet that traveled all over the world. The seat is made of high-quality thin leather, which give the armchair an exceptional feeling of lightness. However, the solid wood and steel base keep the chair sturdy and also gives it a sense of elegancy. The seat also contains magnets to connect different pillows to the seat.
Jedrejcic also designed the LayAir Armchair, which is simple yet still retains the beauty of wood. The armchair is also adaptable—you can remove the upholstery and it can be double-faced, perfect for a hot climate. If you like, the upholstery can also be handwoven upon request.
