The Ban Table, inspired by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, is a minimalist table that can be put together or taken apart without the use of screws, nails, dowels, or even glue. The form is based on joinery techniques and highlights the subtle beauty of how the joints work together. It’s designed by Ania Wolowska, for ITZ Mayan Wood Furniture, and made by master carpenters from Bacalar, Quintana Roo.
The glass table keeps the joints visible, and also keeps the table light. Ban has high-quality construction, and is also collapsible for easy packing and transport.
