Bang & Olufsen Goes Green With the Harmonies Collection

Think of Bang & Olufsen’s new limited Harmonies Collection as akin to a new colorway release for sneakers – a strategized fashionable re-release reflective of the interior and home design trends gravitating toward organic hues and natural materials.

The 5-piece collection is characterized by its mix of green anodised aluminum, Infantry green woven Kvadrat fabric, brass-tone detailing, and smoked oak wooden legs; applied onto the BeoSound 1, BeoSound 2, BeoPlay A9, BeoPlay M5, and BeoSound 35 the organic theme transforms B&O’s usually distinct cool Nordic minimalism into a more lush and warmer presence.

Brass continues to maintain a popular presence within the home furnishings and accessories market, and matching it with an earthy and leafy hue results in a surprisingly effective pairing of organic expression not normally associated with Bang & Olufsen audio speaker systems. The aesthetic elements won’t “color” the sound, but may open further possibilities of speaker placement with an interior space, noting the softer presence the green hue presents.

The Harmonies Collection is available in the Bang & Olufsen retail locations in celebration of the company’s 92nd birthday.
