San Francisco-based Bare Bottle is reimagining the look of wine by putting as much thought into the label as in the actual wine.
Knowing that a lot of us choose bottles based on their labels, Bare Bottle is bringing the focus onto the label itself. By pairing up wine makers with world-renowned creatives, each bottle tells a story of the the maker and the wine.
And not only is that story told in the label, but also through photo essays, audio interviews, and more, bringing the makers closer to the consumers. It’s like farm to table wine, but winery to glass. Lettering artists and designers include Jessica Hische, Nathan Strandberg & Katie Kirk of Eight Hour Day, and Erik Marinovich, who teamed up with winemakers like Aaron Pott, Pax Mahle, and Helen Keplinger.
A new collaboration is announced every month.
