Benchmark Is Set to Launch the Sage Collection by David Rockwell

During this year’s London Design Festival, British furniture brand Benchmark will be launching a new collection of office furniture by American architect David Rockwell. The Sage Collection premieres at 100% Design from September 18th-23rd, continuing the trend of comfortable and inviting designs for office and commercial spaces that could just as easily work in a home. The health-focused collection, which includes sofas, a chair, sit-stand desks, meeting tables, occasional tables, and storage, follows the standards required for WELL certified buildings, which means the pieces are made with natural, sustainable, and non-toxic materials and finishes in ash, sycamore, and oak with patinated copper details and textured wool fabrics.

Inspired by biophilic design, the Sage Collection features natural materials, colors, and textures, along with curved elements that evoke feelings of comfort and coziness. The pieces are made for modern workspaces that desire flexibility, occasional privacy, a sense of well-being.

Sean Sutcliffe, founder of Benchmark says:

Working together with David and his team, we have created a collection that we can all feel very good about. In a world that is full of plastic solutions, we think that the Sage collection brings a very fresh look using the most modern of materials – solid wood. We hope that its users will benefit not only from its aesthetics but also the inherent wellness it will bring.
