Cavalcanti Debuts Optical Illusion Handwoven Rug Collection

Blending playful optical illusions with bits of color, a collection of handwoven rugs from Cavalcanti is set to debut during Paris’ Maison&Objet 2017. The Optical Illusion collection was dreamed up by designer ChiChi Cavalcanti and Natasha Phillips who sought to explore a bit of monochromatic eye trickery, while focusing on the brand’s high standards.

The intense, yet soothing patterns play around with texture and depth and will no doubt bring a sense of energy to whatever room they’re on display.
