Chelsea Apartment by I-Beam Design

Is it possible to ever outgrow LEGO toys? I don’t think so. Imagine getting to live in an apartment that incorporates 20,000 LEGO bricks into it… Well, that’s just what this artist, designer, and their child get to do with the help of I-Beam Design and licensed LEGO artist, Sean Kenney. Don’t worry though, the entire apartment isn’t made of LEGO bricks, just the railing in the child’s room. Still, you get a sense of fun and whimsy throughout the entire space.

The apartment is located in Chelsea and it’s filled with whites and neutrals, along with splashes of primary colors. The homeowner’s artwork is shown throughout, which really personalizes the loft-like space.

I-Beam did a great job of renovating the loft space to break it up and give the child privacy and the homeowner space to work, yet it’s still open and airy.
